ILR 180 Days Absence & another Q

Post by NT_2012 » Mon Jul 23, 2012 1:42 pm

Hi everyone,

Need Help on ILR, worried sick.

1. I am not very clear on the 180 Days absence for ILR

When I approached my HR team they advised that Holidays are not part of the 180 Days absence, is that true, So all my Holiday which were Paid Leave do not count towards it?

2. And I started my Work Permit on Dec 2007 (Letter Granted) but Visa Stamped on February 2008. Now I am confused When should I start calculating my 5 Years from the Letter date or Visa Stamp Date.

Please answer my queries.

Thanks in Advance for your help.

Were you a resident, dec 2007? NO!
so how can that count toward your 5 years?

Time spent in the UK as a Student, is not considered towards the 5 year residency requirement if applying for ILR as a economic migrant.

Provide full information, not bits and pieces.
