Subject Access Request (SAR) - No Acknowledgement Yet

Hi All,

I sent a SAR more than 2 weeks ago. I enclosed a postal order of £10 with it. I specifically requested for 1 document which I need from UKBA as I have lost it.

Its been more than 2 weeks but no acknowledgement letter has been sent to me. Being a dumb a*se I have lost my post office receipt for Postal order so I can't even check whether it has been cashed or not.

Anyone got a response for SAR from UKBA without the acknowledgement letter?

I just hope that its not lost.
