Successfull move from the USA to UK

If anybody here can share their experiences specific to people who have moved from the US to the UK.

I myself have been in the US and am considering HSMP as I am tottally tired of the GC mess here.

So any bit of experience, how you went ahead looking for jobs, anything to keep in mind, any major shocks, just about anything would be appreciated.
