Do you just need to come first in one event or do you need to come first in say three of the same events. How do you win a gold medal?

I suppose you'd need to first work on getting a VISA to travel to the UK, but usually the Olympic or Athletics board of your country would arrange that if you are considered worthy of representing them. Who knows, they may even pay for your flight.

As for the actual winning of events, you might want to go to a health and fitness forum first and then a forum for the specific sport you are interested in.
