I am a part-time student at one of the UK universities, spending more time in Asia for research. I would like to know how long does one can apply after their last visit to the UK with a student or academic visitor visa? My application for a visitor's visa is currently being processed. However I received notice from my supervisors that the univ will request for me to obtain Tier 5 International Agreement visa. So I would like to know whether I will withdraw my application now and apply for Tier 5, or just let the current visa be processed, use it and after 6 months, come out. Then I will apply for Tier 5 but the question which I could not find elsewhere is how long do I have to wait after leaving the UK to apply for the Tier 5? Thanks for any info
