AN form Section 2 Date of first arrival

Post by zee313 » Tue Jul 31, 2012 8:32 pm

Dear Forum,

Please help me out im filling in my form and need help with this,
section 2.1 says enter the date and place of first arrival. On the guidance it says enter the date you entered uk with a view of staying long term.
I obtained my Indefinite to enter visa in 2006, i entered the uk in july 2007 to visit the university i wanted to study at and for holiday, my trip lasted 2 weeks, July 2007 is the stamp on my Indefinite to enter visa. However i was out of the country from July 2007 to Aug 2008 when i then re enterd the country in Aug 2008 to begin my studies at university and have been living and studying here since.
This being the case which date should i enter, July 2007 or Aug 2008?

I would put Aug 2008 as that is when you came to stay long term.
