Guys, i just got this email:


UNCLASSIFIED: Your Visa Application at Rio de Janeiro (Ref: 093902)
Has been issued. Your documents will be dispatched the following working day. We want to hear your views on the service we provided, please complete our Customer Satisfaction Survey at: http://feedback.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ ... 37412smumc

Play by the rules or get locked out for up to 10 years if you abuse our immigration laws. This is an automated message, please do not reply to this email.

Does this mean i got my visa???????

Did you get your visa? How long did it take? I received the same message today.

hi i also received a message today entitled: "UNCLASSIFIED: The UK Border Agency in (place) has made a decision on your visa application ... Your documents can be collected from VFS after 2 working days ...."

Does this mean I got my visa already? I have never received this kind of email before, like last year when I also applied for one. Is this a new procedure for them to inform?

I applied last 26 July, then had a phone interview last Friday, 10 Aug. I applied for a 6 months academic visitor visa.

In your case it does not indicate an approval, merely that a decision has been made. You'll have to wait until you get your passport back to know the outcome.
