ILR PEO - timelines for receipt of BRP

Post by AM123 » Mon Aug 13, 2012 1:31 pm

Hi,

I had my PEO for ILR on 31st July. I was told I would receive my BRP within 5 working days but haven't received them still. I have a trip planned on 24th August.

Anyone have any idea about how long it normally takes to receive BRPs after PEO?

Thanks!

I'm waiting as well for my BRP - got ILR on 6th August.

Have a look on the following link

http://www.immigrationboards.com/postin ... 8f89d294e9

If you have not received your permit 10 working days after the date on your letter from us extending your permission to stay in the UK, you should email BRPDelivery@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. In your email you should state:

your full name;
your date of birth;
your nationality;
your passport number;
your case reference number;
the delivery address for the permit; and a contact telephone number. If you do not provide all this information, there may be a delay in answering your query.

You can also send this information by post to:

Freepost RRYX-GLYU-GXHZ,
Returns Unit,
PO Box 163,
Bristol
BS20 1AB

You cannot ask about undelivered permits in person at our public enquiry offices or biometric enrolment centres.

Which PEO you went ?
Let me know when you will receive your BRP card

I have sent email but got a standard response as below.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the delivery of your Biometric Residence Permit. If we require further information to help us answer your enquiry, we will contact you. Provided we have all the information we require, your enquiry will be answered within 5 working days of receipt. Please do not reply to this e-mail or re-send your enquiry unless we ask you to do so.

If you have not received a response to your enquiry within 28 days of sending your original enquiry, you should re-send it or write to us at:

Freepost RRYX-GLYU-GXHZ
Returns Unit
P.O. Box 163
Bristol BS20 1AB

You are advised not to make any travel arrangements while this matter is being investigated.

Thank you
BRP Management Service

I called to UKBA today regarding the BRP & lady told me that if you didn't receive your card in 20 days then call us & we can put you through processing team which can confirm about it.

But she was confident that BRP will be delivered in around 10 workings days so fingures crossed.

BRP has replied me back saying courier attempted to deliver it to the address but they have given me the trackring number for DX. I have re-arranged the delivery for tomorrow through DX by providing the tracking number.

@amityadav82 - send email to BRP so that they will give you an update.

Did you write to them again after you got the standard reply? How did they send you the tracking number?
I sent them an email and they've just said it will reach me in 3-7 working days. I have no idea why it is taking so long! My appt was on 31st July. I know people who went on the 5th and have got theirs!

No I just sent them 1 email on 15th AUG & I got 2 responses from them.
1. Standard reply which I got straight after the reply
2. Response on 16th August, where they explain the reason & provided me the tracking number for DX

I called on the standard HM number - 08706067766
Lady told me that if you didn't receive your card after 20 days then she can put me to the processsing team which can tell you exactly the reason why the card is not delivered yet. So it's worthwhile to give the a buzz & ask them to put you through the processing team.

Just for your information - I have also received a letter from DX regarding the BRP card yesterday

DX has automated service & you need to provide the tracking number. They don't deliver on Saturday's.
Monday - Friday (9-5)

I mailed to BRP yesterday and got a reply today. They replied that wait for 3 - 7 working days and it will delivered to you. Otherwise mail us again and we will investigate.
