Tier 2 ICT to Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa

Tier 2 ICT to Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa

I am currently in the UK on Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer Long Term Staff visa issued on July 2011.

If any of the senior members can confirm that switching from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa is allowed, that would be very helpful. The reason I ask this question is because Tier 2 ICT visa looks to have the most restriction compared to other categories.

Before I ask the other questions I had, I wanted to confirm this first. Many thanks...

Switching is permitted from any of the Tier 2 categories. Please refer to para 31 of the guidance.

Did that answer your query.I am on Tier 2 (ICT) and would like to see if I am eligible to apply for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur).

Hi
You are allowed to switch to Tier 1 Entrepreneur but must have access to 200k investment or 50k from a venture capitalist firm.
