ILR 3 months concession myth , summary

Post by saraq » Fri Aug 17, 2012 12:08 pm

So to summarize what I understood,

I qualify to send my ILR application 28 days before qualifying periods no matter how much more visa is remaining.

and for me I have traveled within 3 months of EC thats why my qualifying period starts from EC

There is a great debate in different forums between forum posters about 28 days before Visa expiry date or 28 days before counting the entry date to uk.

Really not sure and the guideline itself is not clear. Many people got success applying 28 days before visa expiry date. But again some experts says that is not the rule says. Qualifying period starts from 'Entry date to Uk'
