Working Visa for Photographing A Destination Wedding?

Post by Photographygirl » Sun Aug 19, 2012 2:29 am

Hi I am new and am from Canada. I have been a photographer for 5 years now. I recently was given the opportunity to photograph a destination wedding in Hawaii.

So I am wondering: Do I need some sort of Visa to Photograph the wedding? We'll be staying in Hawaii for a total of 7 days. We are not "Moving" to Hawaii. I am just taking some photograph's for a Canadians friends wedding, in which they have paid me to do.
If so which Visa should I be applying for?
I've looked online and this is all so confusing.
I just want to do this all "legally", as I have read some horror stories of "other" photographers, getting into massive crap with it all, when they in fact weren't even the photographer, but yet travelled with the photographer, who photographed the wedding.

Thank you all in advance!

P.S. We are leaving the end of November of this year. : )

There is no such visa, as far as I'm aware.
