Travelling with the newborn

Post by vajnah » Wed Aug 22, 2012 1:25 pm

Hi all,

My wife who is on a EEA2 visa in UK wants to visit her family back home with our newborn(2 months old).

What kind of documents will we need to get got the baby?

Thank you all in advance :)

I find it utterly ridiculous, but even a two-month old baby needs his/her own passport these days, and I would certainly also make sure to have the birth certificate with you (may be a certified copy will be sufficient).

What is the citizenship of:
your wife?
you?
the baby?

How long have you been resident in the UK?

Have you registered the child's birth and do you have a (or several) long form birth certificate?
