Tier-2 COS

Hi

i am on tier-2 general my visa is going to expire on 22-02-2013

if i want to apply for extension do my employer need to request

ukba for an allocation of COS (or )can he issue me a COS online

as i am already on Tier-2 and its only an extension application.

Can i apply for extension in December.It would be greatful if any one

can help me out .

you company will need to have an unrestricted COS for you to allocate the sponsorship number. You can apply anytime as long as your new COS start date is within 3 months of the issue date of COS. Please note now extension are granted for 3 years.
