I just recieved my Residency Visa and in the rules it states I am not allowed to recieve Council Tax benefit or an allcolation of local authority housing. Does that mean I can go on Council housing lists and Housing association lists? My husband and I are currently living with his parents untill we can find our own place and assistace from these would help grately I just dont want to put my ILR visa in jepordy. Thank you to anyone that can help

You do not mention your husband's status .... British? EEA Citizen? Visa holder? If so, what sort?

I think there is no problem your husband going on to the Housing Waiting List. But I don't think you should do that.
