Your visa will be despatched shortly - Manilavisainfo

Post by ssr_143 » Wed Aug 29, 2012 8:17 am

Hi,
I've submitted for my Tier 2 General Visa in Singapore & got a mail today from MANILVisaInfo@fco.gov.uk as mentioned below
"Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days. Applicants in Australia and New Zealand should allow 3 days before tracking their documents via the local post. UKBA-Manila Visa Hub"

Question - Does this mean my Visa has been approved?? Is there any other interpretation??? Kindly clarify.

Thanks,
Sudhakar S

Hi,
Thanks for the info. VFS Status tracking still shows as Application Under Assessment by Embassy. Could you throw some light on when the passport can be collected generally as I've applied on Priority Visa Service applied on 27 August.

Also does this email states that visa will be sent to Singapore Embassy from Manila??

One more query - IF the visa is rejected, will there any notification email sent?

Thanks,
Sudhakar S

Your application was sent to Manila. That's the regional hub for all UKBA visa applications. Sometimes no notification email is sent in the event of a refusal but in situations where one is emitted, the actual wording is different (neutral) and merely says that the application has been processed or a decision has been made, etc. and it would not say that the application has been refused.
