Tier 2 General Extension Application Form

Dear Members,

I have gained a lot of knowledge from this forum and would like to thank all for your input and support.

Now after 3 years of being on Tier 2 general, its time for extension.

My Tier 2 Visa expires 21 DEC 2012.

Will I use the same application form that I used in first application time or is there any specific form for the extension application? Please advise me.

application forms change from time to time and you must always use the current one. The current one at present is:

check at the time you apply if there is a new one.

Thanks, I was confused because I have seen form Extension of leave using form T2(W) and link form that you send me and make me confused. According to the link form how they will know that I am applying for the Extension. Your advice will be appreciable.

i m in the same boat where my leave expires in nov'12.
i have check ukba website.
It appears I should use Tier 2 (W) form as advised by msislam above. Kindly confim...
Also it seems i can only send application by post and can not apply in person... is this right?

Unless you applied for tier 2 under the transitional arrangements you should not use tier 2(w) this page explains who can use the form

if you don't meet these requirements then you need to use the tier 2 general form.
