Evidence of UK Business

Hi Guys,

For Tier 1 Entrepreneur initial visa application via PSW route , do we must need the following things to prove the Business in UK

1:Companies House Document after registration
2: Company Business Bank Account Statement
3: Registration with HM Revenue & Customs

Are these requirements are for Extension applications ????

OR

we have to produce for the initial applications as well.Please could someone clarify.

To benefit from the PSW reduced capital (50K) concession, for initial applications:

You:
(i) are applying for leave to remain,
(ii) have, or were last granted, leave as a Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) Migrant,
(iii) were, on a date no earlier than three months prior to the date of application,
(1) registered with HM revenue and Customs as self-employed, or
(2) registered a new business in which you are a director, or
(3) registered as a director of an existing business,
(iv) are engaged in business activity, other than the work necessary to administer his business, in an occupation which appears on the list of occupations skilled to National Qualifications Framework level 4 and above, as stated in the codes of practice for Tier 2 Sponsors published by the UK
Border Agency, and
(v) have access to not less than £50,000.

Not sure about PSW router but for 200k Entrepreneur route, you have to register the company within 6 months of receiving the visa. That's plenty of time to set things up.

These are the requirements for the initial application:

1. Printout of a Companies House
document showing the address
of the registered office, or head
office if it has no registered
office, and your name, as it
appears on the application form,
as a director.

2. a) Company bank statement
showing that the company has a
UK account; or
b) Letter from a UK bank
confirming that the company
has a bank account.

3. Business must be registered
for corporation tax with HM
Revenue & Customs. You must
supply either:
a) a copy of form CT41G from
HM Revenue & Customs
This must be completed and
show the date of registration
of the company with HM
Revenue & Customs and the
HM Revenue & Customs unique
reference number; or
b) a completed HM Revenue &
Customs tax return document
showing the tax reference
number for the company. This
can be either the company short
return form or the company tax
return form. If the reporting is
done online you should provide
a printout of the form.

1. Current Appointment report from company house

2. i do,nt think we need this. its for extension

3. i think this is also for extension

4. Advertisement of business and a contract+ invoice

But instead we just need the followings

1:Company incorporation certificate from company house
2:Current Appointment report from company house

Just a recent appointment letter from company house is required.
But we need to consider one point here as they ask for a contract to show trading, we attach a contract + invoice but then to prove it is a genuine invoice I personally think we should attach business statement as well showing that the amount on the invoice was actually transferred into our business account by the other company we are producing contract for .

If anyone got better information pls share

Yes you are right ,I do agree as well....I am confused with company registration..There are three options e.g sole trader, partnership etc...So which option should i choose to register the company and get the documents which required for visa purpose...How much does it cost,,should i register via any company formation agent or directly with companies house...any help much appreciated

The requirements i mentioned are minimum. u can send as many as documents u want related to one case but i always advise to keep things simple. some time more papers raise more questions.

At the time of initial application you only need to supply Current Appointments Report, available from companies house for £3.00.
It states your name, position, company name and date of incorporation.
