Class 4 National Insurance question

Post by Yazied » Sun Sep 23, 2012 11:55 pm

Hi All

Hope you can shed some light on this question.

My friend has registered for self employment. He has paid class 2 national insurance. His Tier 1 extension is due this month and he is applying under both self employed + Employed.

For his self employment he has earned £14000 within this current tax year (6 months) which he will submit with his application. Seeing that it is still within the current tax year and he only has to pay this by Jan 2013, will the UKBA take class 4 NI into consideration?
