Absence letter from Employer, Do I required one?

Hello Guys,

I've one query about my absences while I was on work permit. I am planning to apply for my SET (O) in the end of November 2012.
My case is as below:

First work Permit received From my First employer (PAYE):
November 2007 - September 2008
(Holidays in India - from February 2008 - March 2008= Total Days away from UK = 34 days (Fours Weeks Paid and 2 Weeks Unpaid)

Second Work Permit received from Second employer upon changing my employment (PAYE):
October 2008 - March 2009 (No Holidays taken)

Applied for Tier-1(General) Initial Application:

On 30 March 2009 (Hence falls under the rules in place before 31 march 2009)
Holidays in India to celebrate Diwali - from 1 November 2010- 26 November 2010
Total Days away from UK = 26 Days (Two Weeks Paid and Two Weeks Unpaid)

Applied for Extension in March 2012.

My query is do I require a letter from my First Employer explaining about my absences in the Month of February 2008 - March 2008 and from my current employer for my absences in the Month of November 2010.

Please require your expertise advise at the earliest.
