TIER 2 APPLICATION submission after Job start Date !!!

I got COS in shortage occupation List

I received that on 20th September 2012:

Date to Start Job is 1st October 2012:

Need to Give IELTS which will be on 13 October from my home country:
Result of IELTS will come around 30th October:

Will be able to apply for the visa in 1st week of November 2012.
after that it takes 3 weeks to finalize by UKBA to grant visa.

So my expected joining date will be around 25 of November.will be able to join the Sponsor on 1st December.
My cOS is valid till 20th Dec,2012

MY question is it fine to apply after Job Start date mentioned in the COS.

Bumping this in hopes of getting a resolution!

I am actually curious about a similar situation with my application. My start date according to CoS is Dec. 1, but I won't be entering the country until dec. 17. I wanted to make sure the Dec. 1 is just tentative and that I won't have Visa application problems as a result of the travel date being after the CoS start date.

yes, it is, provided the sposnor is aware of the situation and agreed the 1 December starting date.
