TIER-2 General Out-country application

Hi everyone,
I applied my Tier-2 (General) from India on 19th this month. My joining date is 2nd october which is next month. The UKBA website says the processing time is 15 days, Whereas its just been 8 days today since i applied. My concern is i will be travelling after 2nd october (my joining date) as I am going to get my passport when its 15 days. So is it ok ?

Also, how long does it take for a Tier-2 General from out of country applications ? Please if anybody could give their experiences. Regards
