Dependent ILR query

Hi ,

My Tier1(as well as my wife's) visa is being expired in Apr 2013 .

I want it to get extended in Dec 2012 , so as to send my wife to India in Jan 2013 for pregnancy delivery.


This is my second extension, as I'm falling 4 months short for ILR. I'll apply ILR for only myself in Aug 2013.

Later I want to apply for my wife's ILR from India.

My query is that my wife's stay in UK is less than 2 years(2 months short). Since I have a valid reason for sending her to India, will she be still eligible for ILR.

ILR cannot be applied for from outside the UK.
