Dependent applying for HSMP

Post by muimui » Fri Nov 17, 2006 12:11 pm

I have just received my approval letter for HSMP. But the problem is I don't know whether should I go back to get an EC or sending FLR(HSMP) form to HO for switching my status. As my status is a bit rare that my wife is holding a student visa and I am granted leave to remain as dependent. I called up to the HSMP this morning and they told me I will need to go back to my country to get EC. However, when i called up the no from HO they told me the different story that I will be allowed to apply in-country. I am really confused at the moment as I dont want my FLR to get rejected. Please advise me if someone can help me ....please...
