hsmp previous earnings

Hi there
My husband worked as a Marine Engineer..He get his salary in USD..We are planning to apply for HSMP.I would like to know in our case our earnings will be calculated on Indian based as we are citizen of India or it will calculate in USD??Please guide me.

Hi

What matters is where the work is done to earn the money. If the USD are earned in the USA then USA sacles apply

if your husband is working in India, what ever the currency he is paid it will be calculated based on India.
But my suggestion be carefull in providing enough evidences why he is paid in USD?, what your bank statments looks like?
what about IT returns?
you have to expect a through enquiry by HSMP from now.

In UK, I am on deputation from India. Getting salary in India with some allowance here.

Can I show my earnings based in India only for these last 7 months(After coming to UK). As there is one point in hsmp guidance, Page 25 (Point 40), which is bit confusing.

Is UK will be country BAND for earning for these last 7 months / INDIA ???

Planning to apply for HSMP in Jan.
Please help.
