Absence Count for Dependants (ILR)

Hi All,

I tried to find information on UKBA and here as welle but couldnt find any relavent point regarding No. of Absence Days for Dependants as my wife is not in UK as she prefer of having her delivery at home which is now more then 6 months. Do UKBA also view absence of dependants for ILS. If yes then can you please share me with links from UKBA website.

Also my first Tier 1 (General) start was 15 Oct 2012 but I travel to UK first time on 14 Nov 2012 then does this gap counted as Absence. If yes / no then can you please share me with links from UKBA website.
