[Resolved] PEO appointment cancelled by UKBA automatically

Dear All,

I just received an email about the automatic cancellation of the appointment ,now it shows cancelled in the account as Customer Cancelled..

I guess it is too late to call UKBA today, so will call them tomorrow morning to find out.

I wonder if anybody else has received such an email? The appointment was booked for Solihull (Birmingham).

The email reads as:

You have successfully cancelled your appointment.

Booking reference: xxxxxxxx
Date: xxxxxx
Time: xxxxxx
Location: xxxxxxxx

To complete your application, make a new appointment. If you originally made your appointment on our website, log in to UKBA Online. Otherwise, call the contact centre on 08706067766.

If you did not cancel your appointment:

we may have cancelled your appointment because of severe weather or other unpredictable events;
we are sorry for any inconvenience; and you must book a new appointment.

This is an automated email sent by the UK Border Agency. Please do not reply to this email address.

Hi arifahmmed, thanks for your reply. I have nothing else in my inbox and you know what the lady on UKBA helpline told me that I have another appointment booked on their system for the same day around the same time in Solihull ! She gave me the reference number and scolded me for making multiple bookings

The number I used was 0870 6067766 and the option I used was for biometric enrolment ,option 4, I guess. Other options did not work for me at all!


By the way, the lady said that the appointments are cancelled by the PEO staff which leads me to believe that multiple appointments for a single PEO, intentional or unintentional, lead you to trouble. So, for guys who try to make multiple bookings on a PEO, need to be careful
