Outside UK: dependent visa application before marriage

Dear members,

This is regarding the Tier-1 Dependent Visa Application from India.

I am currently in UK under Tier-1 Visa and getting married on 5th Dec 2012. The query is :

My would be wife , needs to apply for the dependent visa from India, but wondering, it is allowed:
- If she can submit her dependent visa online application before marriage in order to secure appointment after marriage ceremony? or Not?
- In case , she can submit the application before marriage then, what would be the marriage status? Single or Married?
