IELTS and passport

Post by lightbringer » Fri Dec 01, 2006 9:56 am

Guys,
May be some of you has been in the similar situation...
The new rules require IELTS results as a part of the application. I have booked the test on Jan 20, 2007. My visa expires on Jan 01, 2007 but a women from HO assured me that there is a 10 weeks suspension period during which I can pass the test and send them the results.

However - to make a VALID application one needs to submit their passport (original), and on the other hand to take a test you need to have your passport with you.

I sent couple of mails to HO and to IELTS institution and waiting for their response. May be you already have similar response from them? PLease share your thoughts.

Thanks
