OCI Requirement of British Passport

Hi All,

Just want to know as to when is the British Passport needed / submitted for the OCI application? I have sent my Indian passport for surrender (2+ weeks and counting) but yet to get the SC. I intend to apply OCI immediately after I get the SC, however it seems I would need to travel to India in December.

Would be great if people could tell as to when the passport is needed for OCI visa stamping. If its not needed for say another 2 months then I can apply Indian visa in parallel and travel.

you dont need passport for oci till the time it been issued and back at hci london . normal processing time for oci is 6 weeks

you can apply for visa .
