Tier-2 General Eligibility

Hello, Can someone please suggest if I am eligible to switch to Tier-2 General from Tier-2 ICT?

1. I came to UK on 11 month tier-2 ICT VISA in Aug. 2009.
2. My VISA was extened for next 2 years after 1 year .
3. I was transferred to Ireland for 4-5 months and then came back to UK on the same VISA.
4. Currenlty I am in UK and wondering if Iam eligible to shift to Tier-2 General from Tier-2 ICT

You are eligible to switch to T2G provided your initial leave as a T2 ICT migrant was granted under the rules in place before 6 April 2010 (as you said it was) and you have not been granted entry clearance since. When switching you must change sponsor.
