Can i show Notice pay as earnings for tier 1 general exten

Hi,

I am on tier 1 general (2+3). My visa is going to expire on this december. I am going for extension in this month. i need to show 35K earnings to get my extension. I am meeting this requirement if i consider notice pay which i got along with october month pay. My question "Can we show notice pay as our earnings"?. I have read some where saying that we cannot show redundancy pay as earnings, is the same thing applicable to notice pay.?
