Hi, Is the sponsor undertaking form required if i am applying for UK settlement visa from Pakistan...?

It is not required anymore, however in exceptional circumstances the ECO may request this form to be signed by the Sponsor.

If you would like to avoid any such situation, you may as well fill this form and submit it with your application.

We have seen one instance of a refusal where the ECO has mentioned that the Sponsor did not provide the Sponsorship undertaking form when requested by the ECO. However the Sponsor is saying that he did not hear from the ECO regarding this in the first place and now appealing.

And for extra caution... the sponsorship undertaking must be accompanied by a document confirming your residence at the property mentioned on your form - i.e. HMRC document, council tax statement or utility bill.
