Further Enquiries Letter at PEO Liverpool

Post by hadu21 » Sun Dec 02, 2012 12:26 pm

I had an appointment at PEO Liverpool yesterday for Tier 1 General Entention visa. I have 2 dependents.

After completing all formalities including biometric & fee, case worker called me and told me that they need to make some further enquiries and hence can not give me decision today.

She was confused about the tax deducted on the payslips. I told her because I have three jobs, that is why emergency tax (br code) is deducted from my two jobs. She also said that two payslips dont have NI number on them.

I explained her about the nature of my jobs and the way employers deduct tax but she said that she still needs to make further checks abt it. I wish she knew more about the tax system of UK.

She told me that enquiry team will check with your employers and probably HMRC.

Also there is nothing else she raised. All my payslips collaborate with bank statement. Maintenance is fine too...

I wonder how long will it take for them to take decision. Please let me know if any of you have gone through it.

No one has replied because no one knows exactly how long it will take to conclude the checks they need to make, as we cannot read the case worker's mind.

I would suggest you exercise some patience and hopefully you get your answer sooner rather than later.

Kind Regards

Is it going to be the same caseworker or it will be handed over to some other depsrtment.

God knows what checks she wanted to make, even I offered her additional documents etc.

Once again, I can't speculate for certain on what exactly is going on with your application, but these checks are just normal practice when the case worker feels it is necessary to make them.

I think you should just relax and you'll get your approval soon enough.

Kind Regards

Thanks for replying.

I psid £600 for premium services, so that my wife & new born baby can go back home on holidays during christmas. Waste of money & effort when we are at no fault. ;(.

Again thank you very much for responding.

Once the checks are done, hopefully you should get the passport and other documents within 10 working days.

Recieved my Approval letter today along with all the documents.;)

They contacted my two employers to confirm my current jobs and also HMRC about my previous tax history (when I was self employed in 2010)

All is well... ;)
