overstaying

Hi
I am currently on a tier 5 YMB visa and will be applying for a de facto on my partners tier 2 visa in April. I have just discovered that I fly out to New Zealand to complete my application 1 day after my current visa expires - I overstay by 1 day

Will this impact my tier 2 application?

Obviously it will...
Try to change tickets....you don't want to get yourself in touble when they are getting so hard on imigration
