Could anyone help me about following question:

How it is helpful to ask for SAR from home before I apply for 10 years long residence visa?

is it the case that if i ask for SAR they will find while history of mine such as my immigration history or any criminal record?

so why should i ask to check all those?

I think it should help, no harm I think.
This may not have criminal history, it about immigration history.
SAR report will have all your history, all application forms, fee reciepts,
all the information they have about you. Your picture and may be all pages of your passport that you might have sent with application.

I have received mine, was all worth £10 spent.
