The Tribunals are facing technical difficulties and it is taking up to 7 weeks for them to add your details on to the database and contact you from the date the payment is taken. Try calling them again; it's not difficult for them to give you a reference number straight away.

As I said earlier... they are facing some technical difficulties and apparently it could take anything between 2 to 7 weeks

Hi Zohra,

Please try contacting the tribunals.

I sent my appeal on 15th November. Payment was taken on 6th December and they have confirmed that their records are updated and that the appeal has been sent to the ECM to review.

ECM has until 30th April to review the decision.

Do you have your appeal reference yet?

I spoke with them. They said that all communication from this point will be via post but you can always call them to get an update.

Could you clarify who is the applicant (you or your husband) and who is the sponsor?

Your husband should contact the AIT and ask for an update.

Hi i received a letter notice of pending appeal from tribunal
they say they had received my notice of appeal and they notified me the place i made my application and asked them to prepare the relevant doc for my appeal this process is expected to take 19 weeks
the tribunal will write to me after 1 May with further details on how and when my appeal will proceed
What i should do is wait, and then wait :(

I'm in the same situation - wait until April 30th for them to respond.

What you can do in the meantime... to help you with the waiting game:

Contact your MP and explain the situation. Ask them if they can help - they would usually write to the Visa office.

Write to the Visa office yourself and get confirmation that the appeal notification has been received from AIT (for your peace of mind)

Book a holiday to and visit your partner for a couple of weeks in February - tickets are around £450 at the moment.

An MP will not be able to do much at all unless there is something unfair or againest the rules and regulations for bonafide immigration.

With appeals its just a waiting game to await your turn. There is always an option to submit a new application whilst your appeal is pending.

in many cases, an MP's involvement has helped get a response a lot sooner than the usual 90 working days for appeals.

My MP advised me that although they cannot provide legal assistance, they will still write to the visa office in support to an appeal or even a new application - provided that we meet the requirements.

Hi all..

sorry for the late update.

The answer is no, I haven't had a response. My MP is working on the response he received and has challenged it with the UKBA.

At present, April 30 is the next hope for me.
