Is acdemic IELTS acceptable or not

Hi All,

I have done IELTS with 7.0 band but it is an acdemic IELTS. But peole told me that the need a General type of IELTS(for immigration). Can anyone tell me a good news. Can I get rid of appearing in this test again.

Hi there,

I can confirm to you that for migration purposes, you must score in your general testing on IELTS.

Academic is irrelevent. YOu have to take the exam again. Sorry to say that.

It is not true ...there is no where it said that they only accept academic IELTS and academic is harder than general. I read from a forum that
some one get the skill visa with academic. I can not post the link of that
forum ...it may be prohabited in this forum
