Income / Earning Requirements for ILR SET(M) Old Rules

Post by sh1981 » Wed Dec 19, 2012 11:32 am

If I arrived before 9th June / July whatever it was this year before rules changed, how much should I have been earning to satisfy the requirements? My monthly income was in tune of £400 to £600 plus wife got a bit of help from her relatives. Supposing if we say I had only £500 per month between me and my wife, do you think that's enough? The income support for a couple is around £450 or something currently.

They are more interested in your relationship if it is still subsisting after two years of probationary period so loads of evidence would be great for a successful set(M) application, your finances are just enough to assure UKBA that your wife wont be burden on state if ILR is granted so don't worry about finances and concentrate on quality two years evidence of co-habitation.

cheers
Which is it of the favors of your lord that ye deny.

If you have already submitted your application, there is not much point in asking questions now and the decision will be based on documents you have provided with your application. The same applies to your question about photos in your other post.
