List of documents/checklist for visitor visa [family member]

Hi ,

I am interested in knowing the list of documents needed for bringing my mother in law under VISITOR visa to UK. Do i need to show any maintenance funds in my bank account ?

If any one recently applied , please kindly share your thoughts . I mean after recent changes to FAMILY/VISITOR visa(s).

Sponsorship letter
6 months bank statement
wage slips/employment contract
Tenancy agreement or if it is your own house, then show there is sufficient room for visitor
any correspondence/money receipt send to applicant

However the most important thing to show the applicant will return back home after visa ( applicants family tree, bank statements/land/property etc)

Its the latter on which teh decision will be made to grant or refuse visa
