has anyone had any issues with convictions
pls tell us all your experiences...

if some one has minor petty convictions BUT BECAME SPENT more than 6 years ago.......will it affect them in SPONSORING a spouse ?

please comment and advise

how do SPENT convictions affect THE SPONSOR in a spousal visa

I don't believe the sponsor's previous convictions (provided they didn't concern immigration offences) are relevant. The UKBA are not judging your suitability or character.

It might help you to download the application form to see what questions they ask.
