Tier 1 -UK Born Child-applying from IND-is TB test mandatory

Post by ashvar123 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:58 pm

Hi There..

Any Senior member could you please review the cuircumstance below and let me know your views..

UK Born baby - travelled to India today - applied for Tier 1 (General) Child - there in VFS - mentioned that it is mandatory to have TB Test Certificate.

My wife called me and after having reviewed the website - I mentioned her to apply with out any certificate - because it says

If you do not take the test, or the test shows that you have TB, you will not be permitted to travel to the UK until you take the test and are shown to be free of TB, including after treatment.

You do not need a TB test if you are:

a child under the age of 11 (unless deemed necessary by a clinician);

Not sure if I was foolish does this mean my application will get rejected..?
or will they accept because baby has reached India on the same day of application - Any one had this experience - If Yes what is the best way to deal with it.. Please Help
- Ashvar

If any one of you submitted documents after applying at VFS India - how did you do that - Appreciate if you can advise me..
