JOB Title

Hi All,

I need bit of info regarding tier 2 SOC/Job title.

i'm on PSW working for a company almost year and half, they are now ready to sponsor


my salary is 23k but how can i choose a job title which is closer to the salary
the job i do is related to IT and eletrical

i found one job title which is Hardware engineer which is 20800 can i apply with this title ?? does it fall under that NQF 6 ?

You and your employer must decide what job description in the SOC is closest to what you actually do. It is the job description that is important, not the job title, the job title in the SOC doesn't have to be the same as your job title within the company.

SOC code 2132 is software professionals and all jobs under this SOC code are NQF level 6:

The min. salaries listed are for a 37½ hour working week.
Hardware engineer is part of this SOC code.
