UK Tier-1 Extension

Hi,
My visa expires on June 22nd, 2013. But, since we have plans to visit India during June, I intend to apply for extension right now(january 2013), by post.

And my believe is since, this is my first extension after my T1 was issued(2 years), my extension will be issued for 3 years , correct ?

Then, I would not miss out on 5 years ILR term condition, Are my calculations right.
Moreover, can i apply this early, 6 months !!??

My situation :

June 7,2010- June 22, 2011 - Tier2
June 22,2011- June 22, 2013 - Tier1(issue of new application)

2. You can apply this early.
3. You should be given 3 years based on when you got your Tier 1.
