Ilr SET M final check & application questions

Hi Everyone

Can I ask a few questions in relation to some final checks on my partners ILR set m application which we are posting today - your help would be greatly appreciated.

1. I have printed set (m) from ukba website and it says valid for applications made on or after 13/12/12 so this would be the most recent & correct form - right ? (it's just i've read some stories on here of the wrong application form being used)

2. Question 2.1 : Where did you first meet your partner....... i cannot remeber exact month but can i put spring 2008 etc as opposed to putting the exact month ?

3. Regarding the BRP section - he was never issued one of these when he applied for the original 2 yr spouse visa back in 2008 so do i leave this blank ? He only had fingerprints etc taken at the embassy for the application but he was never issued with a card. Although his own country issued him with some type of biometric card when he applied for his passport

4. Question on: what ties do you have to your country of birth - so we answer this as it asks? What is the purpose of this question ?

I have put the docs together and we have all the required items as follows:

6 letters each spread over 2 years from 3 different sources altogether
partners accounts
my paylsips
bank statement for each of us
esol certificate and covering letter
both passports
finiancial outgoings speadsheet
marriage cert
letter from my mum confirming she is happy for us to remain living at her address

fee : paying by postal order - will write partners name, country etc on back of each cheque as directed.
