Having a child in UK on UK Spouse Visa.

Me and my wife would like to have children. She has a UK Spouse Visa. We would like to have children before she gets ILR. Would our children automatically be British Citizens and just be registered with B,M & Ds in the normal way, or would we have to tell the Home Office or UKBA?

If you are settled in the UK or British, the children will be British automatically. Registration in such cases is not necessary.
