Change of visa to dependent!!

Hi

I am on work permit tier 2 ICT.I am changing my status to dependent on my wife.My 2 kids are dependent on me.I am going to home country for entry clearance.My query is as my daughters school is there I wanted to go in march.But I have got a offer n they want me to join ASAP.
Can i go now n get my entry clearance done n then my wife will go in march to home country n change status of kids??or I have to carry kids with me now??
