Type of Visa required for the HSMP

Hi All,

I am from India. I have obtained HSMP approval. I am not clear about what type of the VISA application I should be using to obtain the visa. Apparantly, per http://www.britishhighcommission.gov.uk site, the application form I need to use seems to be: Application form VAF1 - Non-Settlement.

Could somebody tell me for sure that that's the type I should be using! Thanks for your help; I searched on verious sites, but couldnt get the definitive answer.

This is a very repeated and discussed topic on this forum. You need to fill VAF1. Also , if you make a call to the VFS Office, they will tell you the documents required as well.

http://www.vfs-uk.co.in/ and get the contact numbers for VFS Office for your city. At some expense, they also help in filling the VAF1 form although nothing complicated in filling it.
