Please use NCS service for submitting your kids MN1 application which also means that you can retain all originals with you only.

Please check sticky threads in british citizenship section for more details.

You can use Nationality Checking Services any Council and keep your original passports with all documents. You need to apply visa to visit your country India as you may have only one nationality if you become British.

Good luck.

If a parent was granted citizenship prior to child's birth, then child is automatically British by descent.

A British citizen child may apply for a British passport (or a CoE-RoA).

Consular Birth registration is optional.

If neither parents were British at the time of child's birth, then child is not British.

It's probably safest if child is in the UK before registering. ILR/ILE expected. What is the other parent's status?

Other parent status is ILR.

Can i apply Indian passport and get family visitor visa while nationality registration is in progress for child ?

Probably safest to apply for a settlement visa and subsequently register for British citizenship in the UK.
