Number of Days Outside UK in 5 yrs is more than 180 days

Post by aladyce » Fri Jan 18, 2013 10:52 pm

Help guys,
I am applying for ILR soon, but my number of says outside UK in 5 yrs is now more than 180 days; actually about 195 days. I am including letter from my employer for all the days outside UK on official assignment,
Will this affect my application?
Pls any advise?

You'll be fine if it's not all in one go. Last month, the rules were changed and the new threshold is now 900 days, but no more than 180 per individual year.

Hi all,

so if you are out of country for less than 180 days per annum but if its not work related than it will effect your ILR?

regards

tht is wt it is, but when it was 90 days before it was also the same thing if u r out of country bcoz of ur work then they considered. But i think its nonsense anyway why don't they put things straight on their website.
