The Netherlands Citizenship for children

Hi all,

Could somone tell me if my child is born in the Netherlands will he get citizenship?

He might, depending on the circumstances. What was your status in NL when he was born?

Normally at least one parent has to be a Dutch citizen for a child to be Dutch, as far as I know. Even if child is born in NL.
